Sharing Time 

Welcoming songs, sharing ideas, calendar activities, outlining the day’s events, extending interests, developing good listening and speaking habits.

Group Activity

Introducing and discussing themes, reading theme related stories; choral reading; addressing curriculum (math, health, science, social studies) area goals; motivating for Centre Work; establishing routines; engaging in drama, action songs and gross motor activities.

Centre Work

Time and number of centres will vary as children mature. Interest Centres to include some or all of the following, related to a theme, if possible…
